This used Bio-Rad MyIQ Single Color real time PCR detection system is a compact, entry level instrument built for basic quantitative PCR applications. It pairs a reliable 96 well thermal cycling block with a single channel optical detection module optimized for SYBR Green based assays. The unit has been inspected for proper thermal cycling and optical performance before being listed. Designed as an accessible option for labs new to real time PCR, the MyIQ system simplifies workflow with straightforward software for run setup, data collection, and basic analysis. While it lacks the multiplexing capability of larger systems, its single color detection is well suited to labs focused primarily on gene expression studies or simple quantification assays using SYBR chemistry. Many small research groups and teaching labs adopted this platform because of its lower cost relative to multichannel systems.
